Table makeover
I've been on the lookout for a cute wooden table to makeover for the girls. They've outgrown their Little Tykes table and we needed more seating! I finally found a great table and chairs on Craigslist the other day and could see how great it was going to look in my mind. Even though the before was pretty bad, the end product turned out great!
The first thing I did was remove the cushions which were really smoky and threw them directly in the trash can! Next I washed everything with a bucket of hot water and dish soap, rinsed, dried then sprayed them with vinegar to remove more smoke smell. When they were dry, I sanded everything then used spray paint for all the new color! I used Valspar satin spray paint, the pink is called Thistle Field, the blue is Encounter, yellow is Whipped Apricot and the green is New Avocado. I love how everything turned out and my girls love it too!
